Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly (LBFE) is committed to alleviating isolation and loneliness among the elderly while promoting their independence and well-being. We offer to people of goodwill the opportunity to join the elderly in friendship and celebration of life. LBFE identifies isolated adults, 65 years and older, in the Twin Cities area who lack social and family connections and have other unmet needs. Through advocacy, visiting and social engagement services, as well as referrals to neighborhood resources, LBFE fosters their independence and quality of life in the community so they may age in place. Services also include intergenerational activities and holiday meals.
